FAQs – Refunding the Balance in the NFC EZ-Link SIM

29. Can I get the remaining monies on my NFC ez-link purse back when I lose my NFC SIM Card?
In order to claim for the remaining value on your NFC ez-link purse should you lose your NFC SIM Card, you must be registered with our Activate! programme. You can register as an ‘Activate!’ user with the EZ-Link App.

 

Once you are an ‘Activate!’ member, you can call in to the EZ-Link hotline to block the NFC ez-link purse, and follow up with submission of a police report on the loss of your NFC ez-link purse. Please note that whether you are able to obtain the remaining value will depend whether there has been any usage during the period the lost NFC handset is used. Please refer to the Activate! programme here for more details.

 

Should any value be refunded to you, you will need to nominate an ez-link card or EZ-Link NFC SIM where the monies can be transferred to, and you will have to synchronise the monies by selecting the ‘Update your card’ option on the My EZ-Link App.

 

 

30. I do not want to use the NFC ez-link purse anymore. How can I get a refund of the monies remaining in my NFC ez-link purse?
We will encourage you to use up the remaining value on your ez-link purse. If you would like to get a refund, please call our Customer Service hotline at 6496 8300 (Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm excluding public holidays) or email us to at customerservice@ezlink.com.sg to arrange for an appointment to visit our office.

 

You will need to bring along the following items:

  • Your NFC-enabled mobile phone
  • Your EZ-Link NFC SIM Card

Please note that the refund may take up to 21 days to process.

 

 

31. In the event my EZ-Link NFC SIM is faulty, how can I get a refund of the monies on my NFC ez-link purse back?
To refund the balance in the NFC ez-link purse, you may call EZ-Link Customer Service hotline at 6496 8300 (Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm excluding public holidays) or email in to customerservice@ezlink.com.sg to arrange for an appointment to visit EZ-Link’s office.

 

You will need to bring/provide the following items:

  • Your NFC mobile phone
  • Your NFC SIM Card
  • Your ez-link purse number (as shown on the EZ-Link App)

Please note that the refund may take up to 21 days to process.
